We are thrilled to announce that we have successfully raised $2000 through our fundraiser (https://givebutter.com/c/tailor) to kick start our project, “Tailoring Our Way To Freedom.” This project is focused on uplifting the livelihoods of LGBTQI+ Ugandans who have been greatly impacted by the harmful effects of the Anti-Homosexuality Act 2023. Additionally, we aim to honor the legacy of Edwin Chiloba, a slain Kenyan Activist, fashion designer, and friend, by liberating his designs.
Thanks to your generous contributions, we have been able to rent a two-room space and purchase the first three machines. However, we still need your help to fully bring this project to life. Your donations will enable us to continue moving forward and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in our community.
